Job Description and Qualifications for April 2024 Vacancy
Front Desk / Office Assistant
1. Work Schedule: Monday thru Friday, 8:00 A.M. - 4:30 P.M. Subject to on-call 7 days a week, 24 hours a day in the event of an emergency.
2. Qualifications: Applicant must be 18 years of age, High School Graduate or GED, have basic bookkeeping skills, be detail oriented and able to multi-task.
3. Applicant shall have a valid driver’s license, and be subject to a background check.
4. Applicant may be required to complete a drug and alcohol screening prior to hiring and at random intervals thereafter.
5. Duties include but not limited to:
· Answer phones
· Greet customers
· Address customer concerns
· Process mail
· Process all forms of payment
· Balance cash drawers daily
· Prepare and make daily bank deposits
· Monthly billing
· Assess penalties
· Send disconnection notices
· Collections
· Set up new customer accounts
· Generate work orders
· Order supplies
· Obtain Notary License (provided)
· Notify customers and media in the event of an emergency
· Attend training seminars and annual membership meeting
· Additional duties as assigned
6. Paid holidays, vacation, and personal time after introductory period
